Gerry Francis replaced Ossie Ardilles in November 1994 with Tottenham in trouble at the bottom of the premiership. He lost the services of Jurgen Klinsmann and Gheorgie Popescu at the end of the previous season, and invested heavily in Chris Armstrong.
Gerry Francis, the player captained England at the age of 23 but due to injury only won 12 England caps.
Francis has spend 12 years in management and will hope to bring success to Spurs in the near future.
